At 0254hrs. Levels Volunteers were dispatched for an engine and Supply mutual aid to Co. 9 (Darlington) . Dispatch advised a firefighter  was on-scene reporting heavy smoke showing. At 0300hrs. Chief 9-2 arrived and reported working fire to a one-story dwelling. Engine 113 (Chief 1-1) arrived and was initially assigned as the Rapid Intervention Team, shortly their after they were assigned to firefighting and overhaul operations. Supply 181 established and maintained a water supply at Co 9 house 2. Tanker 121 was requested to the scene and Engine 112 transferred to Darlington. IV 191 was requested to transfer to Darlington and then was brought to the scene. Engine 512 transferred to Level until it was requested to the scene, at that point Perryville Fire Co tranferred an engine to Level.Units on the scene cleared by 06:30 AM.The home was occupied by a member of Darlington Fire Co and his family members. Level Volunteer Fire Company has this member in their thoughts during this very difficult period.
