Tuesday, June 5, 2012 - On tuesday morning, Darlington VFC and Surrounding companies were alerted for a dwelling fire in the area of Main St and Castleton Rd in the 914 box area. Engine 113 w/7 and Tanker 121 made the response. Dispatched advised of multiple calls with fire thru the roof. Chief 9-1 was on the scene with the same and upgraded to a fire rescue box with a possible subject on the 2nd floor. Engine 113 arrived, Emptied multiple ladder beds and laddered the structure, pulled a 3rd pre-connect from Engine 912 and asssited with fire attack. Tanker 121 set up to supply Engine 912 with water. After fire was out, the Engine crew assisted with salvage and overhaul. Tanker 121 cleared and the Engine company cleared a few hours later.
